I have found two problems with this:
1) The published web page only works in Internet Explorer, apparently each individual page is exported as an .mht file, instead of the html file I was expecting. I will have to find a converter for this.
2) "Unfiled Notes" are not listed as an option in the notebooks that can be exported, meaning I have to move all those notes elsewhere in order to export them.

Thanks for making this. It's just what I'm looking for. Just an update for anyone who's interested. I just tried this with Office 2010's endnote and it works. The only problem I have is that the hyperlinks seem to be all set to open a new window instead of staying in the current frame.

Has anybody experienced trying to view this through an SSL connection, I can view it fine through a non secure connection but the moment i host it on my main SP portal site i am greeted by a nasty 401 error in the page viewer web part, have tried creating a non secure web app and using page viewer to link through that but still no joy :( this would be a really handy tool if i can get it working coz all my documentation is done in OneNote

Experiencing this "globe fading problem" too, I tried to use OneNote as an administrator - and it worked fine. Unfortunately I still didn't succeed installing or modifying OneNote Web Exporter to work when I'm signed in as a regular user. Can somebody help, please?
Another (unsolved) problem is that OneNote Web Exporter doesn't work with international caracters, and I'm german.
So OneNote Web Exporter COULD be a nice piece of software...

I am having the same issue - is there a resolution to this?

I installed and see the WWW button but when I click it the globe just fades and nothing happens. THe tooltip works however ;-)

Will this, one working, create web pages that can be viewed on the PPC browser from a local folder?

Thanks,
Dave
